Shipping methods, delivery countries and prices

Shipping methods decide what the checkout offers and what shipping costs. You set them up here.

Where: Settings › Shipping, the Methods card. Delivery countries: Storefronts › [storefront] › Checkout, the Sells to card.

#Delivery countries

Each storefront has its own list of countries it sells to.

1. Open Storefronts › [storefront] › Checkout.
2. Pick countries in the Sells to card. Quick picks: EU 27, All EU + EFTA, Nordics only (SE, DK, FI, NO) and Sweden only.
3. Press Save changes.

The checkout refuses addresses in other countries. A shipping method shows only for a country that is in both Sells to and the method's Ships to.

Sells to cannot be saved empty: an empty list lets the checkout take every country.

Countries you do not sell to can go under Not sold to in the same card. A visitor from there sees the storefront but cannot buy, with or without prices. See Not sold to. A country is never in both lists, and the quick picks skip the countries under Not sold to.

Warning: The EU's geo-blocking rules also cover Norway and Iceland, because they are in the EEA. You are the seller, and you carry that risk.

#Add a shipping method

Shipping methods apply to every storefront in the workspace. The name shows as you wrote it at checkout, in the Kustom window and in the emails, in every storefront. Write it in the storefronts' language.

1. Open Settings › Shipping.
2. Press New method.
3. Fill in the fields in the table below.
4. Press Save method.

The checkout now offers the method in every storefront that sells to the country.

A service marked · pickup makes the customer choose a pickup point at checkout.

Amounts are in the workspace's base currency. The checkout converts them to the customer's currency.

In another currency Free above is converted like a price and rounded like the prices. See Free shipping in other currencies.

#Order, disabling and deleting

• Drag a row in the list by its handle. The checkout shows the methods in that order.
• ⋯ › Disable hides the method at checkout. ⋯ › Enable shows it again.
• ⋯ › Delete asks Delete “Method name”? and then removes the method. The checkout stops offering it in every storefront.
• The NOT CONNECTED stamp means the carrier is not connected under Stack. The method books no label until it is.
• Editors and higher roles change the methods. A viewer sees the list but cannot save.

Warning: You cannot undo Delete, and the Sendify policy is deleted with the method. Use Disable to hide it.

#Live rates via Sendify

A Sendify method fetches the carrier's price once the customer has entered the postal code. The Sendify pricing policy card in the form turns the cost into the customer's price.

BunStack calculates the customer's price like this:

1. Cost × (1 + markup) + fixed fee.
2. The result × (1 + VAT rate), rounded by Rounding.
3. At least Minimum price.
4. 0 when the cart reaches Free above.

BunStack keeps a quote for up to 30 minutes per destination and cart. If Sendify does not answer, the checkout shows the fallback price with the text "Live rates are unavailable right now — standard prices are shown."

Set up pickup with Store pickup next to New method. Do not use a manual method at 0. See Store pickup.
