Products in the storefronts
Choose which products a storefront sells, with its own price, own title, order and featured products.
Each storefront sells a selection from the catalogue. Here you choose the selection and set the storefront's own values.
Where: the card Publish per storefront on the product, or Storefronts › [storefront] › Products.
When the product shows
A product shows in a storefront when all three are true:
- The product is active.
- The product is added to the storefront and Visible is on.
- The storefront is live.
The badge next to each storefront on the product page shows the state:
| Badge | Means |
|---|---|
| LIVE | Customers see the product |
| HIDDEN | Added but not visible. Turn on Visible to shoppers |
| WAITING | The product is draft or archived, or the storefront is not live |
| OFF | Not added to the storefront |
From the product
In the card Publish per storefront each storefront has a box In [storefront].
- Tick the box. The product is added and becomes visible.
- Press Override to set Override price and Override title.
- Press Save overrides.
Visible to shoppers hides the product without removing it from the storefront.
From the storefront
Storefronts › [storefront] › Products lists the whole catalogue in alphabetical order, at most 500 at a time. The line at the top counts products in the storefront, visible, featured and total in the catalogue, for example "12 of 12 featured".
| Setting | What it does | Default | Limits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Add / Remove | Adds the product to the storefront or removes it | – | – |
| Price | The storefront's price in the base currency. Empty = the product's price | Empty | 0 or more |
| Pos | Place in the storefront's lists. Lowest first. Without a place last, alphabetically | Empty | Whole number, 0 or more |
| Visible | Off hides the product in the storefront | On | – |
| Featured | The product can show in sections for featured products | Off | Max 12 per storefront |
The filters all, picked and unpicked show all, added or not added products. A price or a place saves when you leave the field.
Price in the storefront
BunStack chooses the price in this order:
- The variant's own price.
- The storefront's price (Price or Override price).
- The product's Default price.
A variant with its own price keeps it in every storefront. The line "Variants with their own price keep it." shows under the field when the product has such variants. BunStack works out pricing rules and other currencies from the chosen price, see Pricing rules and Base currency and more currencies.
When the product has only one variant, the product cards, the product page and the cart show that variant's price. The checkout charges the same price.
When the product has several variants, the product cards, the search results and the recently viewed row show the cheapest variant that can be bought. When none can be bought, they show the cheapest of all. When the variants cost different amounts, the price starts with "from" ("från" in a storefront in Swedish).
Remove from a storefront
If the product has its own price, own title, place or Featured in the storefront, the admin asks you to confirm. The dialog lists what goes, for example Removes the override price and the featured flag in Main storefront. The button is Remove from shop on the product and Remove from store on the storefront's tab. The product stays in the catalogue.
