A vendor (Vendor) is a brand that the products belong to. Here you add vendors and their product safety details.

The vendor becomes the brand in the Google and Meta feeds and shows in search results. Each vendor has a card with its number of products as a link to the product list.
Add a vendor:
- Type the name under Add a vendor.
- Press Add vendor.
You can also create a vendor on the product: Organize › Vendor › + New. The name may be at most 120 characters and must be unique.
Product safety (GPSR)
The EU General Product Safety Regulation (2023/988) applies to products sold online. The product must name the manufacturer with a postal address and an email address or web address. If the manufacturer is outside the EU, the product must also name the responsible operator in the EU. The details belong to the brand, so you fill them in once per vendor.

In a storefront that sells to consumers, Go live warns under Product safety (GPSR). It warns when a visible product has no vendor, or its vendor has Incomplete or Not filled in.
What the customer sees
The product page shows the details under the heading "Product safety", "Produktsäkerhet" in a Swedish storefront. The heading is under the description, even with a custom product page design. The manufacturer shows when the name or address is filled in. The responsible person shows when the name is filled in.
BunStack shows what you fill in. Decide with your lawyer who the responsible person is and whether you count as the manufacturer yourself.
A vendor on many products
- Open Products.
- Choose No vendor or a vendor in the filter.
- Tick the box in the table header. Every product shown is selected.
- Choose a vendor under Set vendor, or No vendor to remove it.
- Press Apply.
If not every product gets the new vendor, the page shows how many changed, for example Only 8 of 10 products changed vendor — your role may not allow editing products. The line "N products have no vendor. Set one on them in bulk" on the vendors page opens the list with the filter No vendor.
You can also set a vendor with CSV, see Import products from CSV.
