Your first storefront
What a new storefront has from the start, its tabs, what to do first, how to preview and how many storefronts the plan allows.
A new storefront is a draft with a temporary address.
Where: Storefronts › [storefront].
From the start
The storefront is a draft until it goes live. Visitors to the address see the page No shop lives at this address. A browser set to Swedish shows Det finns ingen butik på den här adressen.

The return address is the sender address under Settings › Shipping until you enter your own under Returns. See Returns.

Do this first
- Add at least one product with a price and make it visible in the storefront. See Products.
- Connect Kustom under Stack › Kustom.
- Choose Kustom under Storefronts › [storefront] › Checkout.
- Add shipping methods and fill in the sender address under Settings › Shipping.
- Open the designer with Open designer on Overview. Set the logo, colours and the home page sections, and publish.
- Replace the markers in the legal pages under Pages and publish the pages.
- Check the return address under Returns.
Then run the checks under Go live.
Note: The Native test checkout takes no payment. A storefront on Native cannot go live.
Preview
- The designer shows the home page, the pages you build and the components: header, menu, footer, product card, product page, gallery, category and banner. Clicks are switched off there.
- The storefront draws the cart and the checkout. The designer does not show them.
- Preview in the band at the top shows the storefront with the draft or the published layout. For a storefront that is not live, it shows no products.
Go live requires Kustom to be on Live. So test the checkout with a real purchase for a small amount after go-live. Refund the purchase from the order.
