Parcel tracking
Tracking number and link from the booking, how often BunStack fetches tracking from Sendify, the delivery date and PostNord.
BunStack saves the tracking when the shipping is booked and fetches events for Sendify parcels.
Where: Orders › an order › the Shipments card.
At booking
The booking gives a tracking number and a link. BunStack saves both on the shipment and shows them in the Shipments card. This applies to Sendify and PostNord.
- The customer gets the number and the link in the shipped email for the parcel.
- If the booking has no link yet, the email says the tracking will show on the order page. Sendify sometimes gives the link only at the first tracking event.
- The customer's order page shows the tracking number under Spårning, with a link when there is one.
Sendify
BunStack fetches tracking from Sendify automatically.
| Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| How often the job runs | Every 15 minutes |
| How often BunStack looks up a shipment | At most every 30 minutes |
| How long | 21 days after booking |
| Booked but not scanned | Not looked up after 5 days |
When Sendify reports the parcel as delivered, BunStack saves the delivery date on the order. The return window counts from delivery of the last parcel, see Returns. BunStack sends the customer no email on delivery.
BunStack stops looking up a shipment the carrier has not scanned in 5 days. This covers, for example, a test booking or a label never handed in. Refresh tracking asks anyway.
PostNord
BunStack reads no tracking events from PostNord, so a PostNord parcel gets no delivery date. The return window then counts from the shipment plus 7 days.
If PostNord gives no tracking number at booking, Refresh tracking fetches the number later.
Fetch tracking now
- Open the order.
- Press Refresh tracking. It is under ⋯ Actions if it is not pinned.
BunStack asks the carrier at once. The result shows on a line under the header. The button shows when the order has a shipment with Sendify or PostNord and the integration is connected. It needs the editor role.
