ProSmart: customer number per country

Which customer in ProSmart a web order is booked on: the default customer, a customer per recipient country and the Customer no. field in the push dialog.

Last updated · 4 min read

BunStack can book the orders to each recipient country on a customer of its own in ProSmart.

Where: Stack › ProSmart › Settings, the fields Customer number (kundnr) and Customer per country.

The customer decides the VAT in the books when ProSmart passes the order on to Fortnox. Each country can therefore have a collective customer of its own in ProSmart, for example one for Germany and one for Poland. You create the customers in ProSmart. BunStack creates none.

Add a customer per country

  1. Open Stack › ProSmart › Settings and choose the environment.
  2. Press Add country under Customer per country.
  3. Write the country with two letters, for example DE.
  4. Write the customer number in ProSmart.
  5. Press Connect ProSmart or Update connection.

BunStack now books orders to the country on the country's customer. Remove deletes a row.

The list applies to the chosen environment. Test and Production each have their own customer register.

The country is the recipient's:

  • the shipping address's country
  • the billing address's country, when the shipping address has no country
  • the account's home country, for an order picked up in store or without a country in the addresses

A pickup order sent as a parcel after all counts by its shipping address. The country can be a two-letter code (DE), a three-letter code (DEU) or a name (Germany, Deutschland, Tyskland).

With Send customer details on, the customer who bought is the delivery recipient in ProSmart. The invoice recipient is the collective customer.

The Customer no. field in the push dialog

The push dialog shows the customer number in the Customer no. field. Below the field are the country and the reason, for example:

  • Germany · its own customer in ProSmart
  • Finland · no customer of its own in ProSmart: the default customer

You can write another number for a single order. The dialog then shows changed for this order and the number the order would have had. Use 2001 puts the regular number back. The push books the number in the field.

  • A new push of an order that already has a push in the same environment starts from that push's number. This applies to Send the rest, for example. The order stays on one customer.
  • The automatic push on fulfilment does not ask. It books on the country's customer, on Customer number (kundnr) or on the number you wrote at an earlier push.

The preview, the result and the ProSmart card show the customer, for example Customer 2001 · Germany. The card shows (set by hand) after a number you wrote and (default) after the default customer. When ProSmart has booked the order on another customer, it shows under ProSmart did not keep.

No customer for the country

When the environment has no Customer number (kundnr), the push dialog waits for you to write a number.

Warning: The automatic push then does not send the order. The order gets Needs attention, and the bell gets the No ProSmart customer for a country notification. Fill in Customer number (kundnr) and send the order from the ProSmart card.

  • The timeline shows Nothing sent to ProSmart with the reason.
  • The flag does not block shipping.
  • The flag disappears when the order has been sent, cancelled or fully refunded.
  • A flag from before 2 October 2026 shows which customer the order would be booked on now, and the Send to ProSmart button.

A connection last saved before the Test and Production choice existed books every order on its customer number, whatever the country. This applies until you save the settings.
