Orders

Fulfilment, labels and partial delivery

Ship an order from the order page, split it into several parcels, create an extra shipment and print labels.

Fulfill order books the shipping and marks the lines as shipped.

Where: Orders › an order › Fulfill order.

Ship an order

  1. Open the order.
  2. Press Fulfill order.
  3. Tick the lines to ship in the Choose lines to ship dialog.
  4. Confirm.

BunStack books the shipping with the order's carrier, Sendify or PostNord. If the order has a fixed shipping price without a carrier, BunStack records the shipment as manual. The label opens in a new tab, and BunStack saves it on the order. The customer gets an email with the parcel's lines and tracking link.

Partial delivery

A line always ships whole. Untick the lines that should wait.

  • Lines already shipped are under Already shipped, for example 2 of 2 shipped.
  • The order stays PARTIAL until every line is on a shipment.
  • The booking with the last lines marks the order as shipped.
  • The customer gets one email per parcel. While lines remain it reads Part of your order … is on the way. The last one reads The rest of your order … is on the way.
  • If every line is already on a shipment, the dialog answers Every line of this order is already on a shipment. and books nothing.
  • A service cannot be chosen. It goes with the first shipment, and the dialog says Goes with this shipment: and the service. The payment for the service is captured with that shipment.
  • An order of services only has nothing to pack. Press Mark the services done. The order is marked as shipped with no booking and no shipping notice. A service with a SKU goes to ProSmart: at once with Push the order to ProSmart automatically on fulfilment on, else through the question Create a ProSmart order?.

Do not ship the rest

  1. Open ⋯ Actions.
  2. Press Release the rest of the payment.
  3. Confirm.

Kustom releases what was not captured. BunStack closes the lines that did not ship. The order counts as shipped, and BunStack refuses New shipment with manual shipping. If the customer paid for units on a line captured whole, the order page opens Refund with them.

Extra shipment

New shipment sends one more parcel, for example a replacement. The order's lines do not change.

  • With a carrier: BunStack books a new shipment with Sendify or PostNord. Choose the service in the dialog. Change address changes the address for that shipment only.
  • With manual shipping: enter the carrier and tracking number. The shipment takes the order's remaining lines. BunStack captures the money as under Fulfill order.

Labels

BunStack creates the label in the format chosen on the integration. The printer icon on a shipment downloads the label again. The icon shows on shipments with a saved label and on a Sendify booking, whose label BunStack fetches from Sendify. Shipping labels in the action bar downloads all the order's labels as one PDF. The format cannot be changed afterwards. Packing slip in the action bar downloads the packing slip as a PDF, see The packing slip.

If BunStack cannot fetch a label, the error shows under the header.

Correct a shipment

The Shipments card shows date, carrier, service and tracking number with link. BunStack fills in the lines from the booking.

  1. Press the pencil (Edit the lines in this shipment).
  2. Change the lines and quantities.
  3. Press Save.

The counter on the order's lines counts the shipments. A cancelled shipment does not count.
