The product

Under Products › New product you enter title, description, images, price, compare-at price, tags and status (active, draft, archived). The slug becomes the address /products/slug in the storefront.

FieldAffects
Price and compare-at priceCatalogue, checkout, discounts. Prices are entered in the base currency; other currencies are converted or set explicitly
Tax categoryWhich rate is used per country: standard, reduced, alternative reduced, super-reduced, zero
Weight (grams) and dimensions (cm)Sendify prices and labels. Without a weight the tenant's default parcel is used
StockQuantity per variant. At zero the product cannot be bought
ImagesThe first image is the main image in catalogue, search and structured data
VendorShown as brand in structured data when set

Variants

Variants have their own SKU, price, stock, weight, dimensions, image and options (colour, size). The tax category is always inherited from the product. If the product has no variants a default variant is created automatically.

Visibility per storefront

In the Storefronts card on the product you choose where the product is shown, with an optional own price, position and visibility per storefront. A product can therefore have different prices in different storefronts.

Stock and sold out

Stock is deducted when an order is paid and restored on refund. When it reaches zero the checkout stops the purchase with a message that the item is sold out. If you want to allow more orders than stock, contact support.

The product page in the storefront

This is how the product is shown to the customer:

  • Gallery with main image and thumbnails. Arrow keys browse; variants with their own image show it first. The heart saves to the wishlist.
  • Price, compare-at price struck through and a badge "Save X (Y %)" when the compare-at price is higher. "Incl. VAT" or "Excl. VAT" according to the storefront setting.
  • Rating with stars and number of reviews when the product has reviews, linking down to them.
  • Variants as buttons, grouped per option (Colour, Size) when the variants carry options, otherwise one button per variant. Sold-out values are struck through.
  • Stock status: In stock, Only n left at five or fewer, Out of stock. "Free shipping over X" comes from the storefront's shipping methods.
  • Quantity and Add to cart, with links to the cart and checkout after adding. On mobile a buy button follows at the bottom once the main button has scrolled out of view.
  • Delivery card: "Ships Tue 8 Sep when ordered today" based on the next business day, and "Shipping from X" from the storefront's cheapest shipping method.
  • The description is shown short with "Read more" when it is long. Tags are shown as chips.
  • Reviews and "You may also like" below.

The storefront search indexes title, description, tags, SKU and categories with Swedish inflection. Synonyms and popular searches are managed under Search & synonyms, see SEO & search.
