Sender and parcels

#Sender address

At the top of Storefronts › Shipping is the Sender card. Fill in company name, street, postal code, city, country, phone and email. The details are suggested from the company profile. The postal code must be real: carriers reject placeholders, and the go-live check blocks until the address is filled in.

#Default parcel

In the same card you enter default dimensions and weight for one parcel plus the maximum weight per parcel. They are used when products lack their own dimensions, and to split heavy consignments into several parcels.

#Recommendation

Put a weight on every variant and dimensions on products that differ from the default parcel. Then live rates are right from the start and labels get the correct weight.
