Account, tenant and company profile
Create the account, understand what the tenant is and fill in the profile the rest of the platform builds on.
Create the account
Go to bunstack.co/signup. The wizard asks for company name, store name and a slug (the short address). The slug is checked immediately: it must be available and may only contain lowercase letters, digits and hyphens. Country, currency and language are suggested from where you are.
Once you have confirmed your email address you have:
- your tenant (the company) with you as owner,
- a first storefront as a draft with a temporary address of the form
storename-xxxxxxxx.bunstack.shop, - an empty published theme and five legal pages as drafts,
- a 14-day trial.
Tenant versus storefront
The tenant owns everything: team, products, customers, orders, integrations and VAT settings. Storefronts are the shop windows. You can run several storefronts under one tenant, for example a Swedish and a Norwegian one, with different currencies, themes and shipping methods but the same stock and the same order view.
The company profile
Under Settings › Tenant profile you fill in:

The profile is mirrored to the storefront settings, so the shipping sender address, the legal page templates and the go-live checks read the same details. Change it in one place.

Roles in the team

Invite colleagues under Settings › Team. The invitation is sent by email and is valid until used.
