AI apps (MCP)
Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another AI app to BunStack: read the shop, change many products at once, and undo.
An AI app can read your shop and change products for you. It works as you, in one workspace, with your role.
Where: the address https://bunstack.co/mcp in the AI app. Your account › Connected apps shows the apps you have connected.
Connect an app
- Open the app's connector settings. In Claude: Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
- Enter
https://bunstack.co/mcp. - Sign in with your BunStack account.
- Pick the workspace under Workspace and press Connect.
The app works in that workspace until you disconnect it. Switching workspace in the admin does not move the app. To move the app to another workspace, disconnect it and connect it again.
What the app can do
| Read | Products, variants, categories, orders, customers, sales, go-live checks, who can buy, and the Activity log. |
| Change | Product texts, price, compare-at price, status, tags, weight, dimensions, tax category and stock threshold. Variant price, compare-at price, stock, SKU and inventory policy. Which categories a product is in. Needs the editor role or higher. |
| Never | Refund, cancel, capture payments, delete anything, change domains, API keys, the team or integrations. The app gives you a link to the right admin page. |
A viewer can only read.
Proposal first
The app changes nothing directly.
- The app makes a proposal: which rows change, the value before and after, and an id.
- You say yes.
- The app applies the proposal. Every row changes, or none.
A proposal is valid for 30 minutes and holds at most 2,000 rows. If someone changed one of the rows after the proposal, nothing changes and the app says which rows. Ask the app for a new proposal.
Undo
Ask the app to undo the change. The old values come back, as long as nobody has changed the rows since.
Where changes show
Every applied change is in the Activity log as mcp.apply, under your name and with the app's name. An undone change shows as mcp.undo. Each changed product is listed there too, as when you change it in the admin.
Disconnect
Your account › Connected apps › Disconnect. The app can no longer reach BunStack within the hour.

- Raise all Donic rubbers by 8 % and round to whole kronor.
- Which active products have no image or weight?
- Put every table under 2,000 kr in the Sale category.
- Lower everything tagged sale by 20 % and show the old price struck through.
- Set stock to 0 on every variant of Acuda Blue P1.
- Why can customers in Poland not pay?
- Undo the price change I made this morning.
If something does not work
